This kraken is the rarest Quicksave kraken, and one of the rarest ever recorded. The Kraken itself is not caused by corruption of data files, as repairing the game files and visiting the save with the Kraken still has the censored effect. Interestingly, visiting a save with the kraken seems to damage a lot of the files of KSP. The only way to fully rid your game of this kraken is to reinstall the game (or repair the files) and delete your savefile. It's impossible to get rid of it by changing graphics settings. If you visit the save with the Kraken, the game is permanently infected with the censored effect in the VAB/SPH. The Censor Kraken's censor/blackout effect in the VAB. The effect stays after a restart, however in a different save it doesn't appear unless you have visited the save with the Kraken. The censored effect only happens within the VAB or the SPH. This Kraken corrupts the savefile and the tree is permanently corrupted, ruining it. Some late-science-tree stuff is randomly unlocked, as the tree gets corrupted. The science tree resets itself and all of the rocket parts in the editor turn pitch black, like if they were censored. This kraken occurs when you load a quicksave in which a dead kerbal is alive. Newly discovered krakens/Super rare krakens Jiggle Kraken Censor Kraken This Kraken is also the least devastating physics kraken, as all that is lost is some time. It's most common when timewarping on a collision course with Kerbin from a direct freefall from Mun/Minmus missions. This is by far the easiest Kraken to reproduce, however it's not very well known. It's likely related to the Kerbin Kraken. If you collide with any planet while timewarping too fast, you may pass through the planet as if it was liquid. It's a quite ancient Kraken, and it has been patched, although it's been thought to be associated with the Liquid Kraken which still exists today. When the ship crashes into Kerbin with the map screen open, Kerbin will explode and you will be on an escape velocity out of the solar system. It is a fairly small glitch that attacks when you are time-warping toward Kerbin and you enter the map screen. The Kerbin Kraken is a bug found in 0.25 to 1.0 or earlier than 0.25. Similarly to the Censor Kraken, the tech tree is corrupted. While the game is filled with fire particles, the screen also turns white and has a corrupted HUD. The screen gets filled with fire particles, and the game crashes and deletes all vehicles, excluding EVA's and Flags. This kraken is extremely rare, happening when loading quicksaves. It also has a chance to freeze your game. This glitch has occured with the author of this section, Ragonoid, multiple times. It launches a rocket at high speeds, creating a warped engine sound and an extremely powerful wobbling effect. This kraken rarely occurs when a rocket reaches 6000 meters up in Kerbin's atmosphere. They may go blasting off at an astonishing speed, easily beating the speed of light. This kraken occurs after a Kerbal leaves a ship after a very high speed time warp. This kraken would happen rarely when exiting the Map or IVA screens. The kraken would destroy your ship by moving pieces apart. 3 Newly discovered krakens/Super rare krakensĪlthough this kraken has been removed by an update, this kraken is one of the more well known krakens.
